Even though Gullwing trucks isn’t exactly a new brand, the brand has managed to stay innovative through the years. The first Gullwing product was a skateboard truck made for slalom and downhill featuring a split axle design. Gullwing became the first company to offer products for all forms of skateboarding. And when longboarding became popular and riders started to invent new tricks and demanding more from their trucks, Gullwing was ready to meet the demands from the very beginning.

Gullwing trucks has existed for many years. In 1976, precision designer Bill Brawner and CEO Walter Teidge teamed up with Mike Williams and Joe Lynch to form what is now known as Gullwing Truck Company.
